A plain-language account of what stays in your browser, what the production event counter records, and why.
Local checklist data
Checklist progress and personal tasks are stored in your browser using localStorage. They are not sent to this site, do not sync across devices, and disappear when you clear the site's browser storage.
First-party event measurement
The production site sends a minimal event to an independent Cloudflare Worker when a page opens or a tool control is used. The event contains a random session ID stored only for the current browser tab, the page path, event name, limited control parameters, referrer, and any UTM source, medium, or campaign attached to the link. Cloudflare adds a coarse country code and server timestamp. The Worker also stores bot and internal-test flags without retaining the full user agent.
The site does not place an analytics cookie, store an IP address in its event table, or collect a GRYPHLINK password, verification code, account identifier, game character, purchase, or checklist contents. Cloudflare necessarily processes network requests under its own service terms, but this project does not persist the request IP.
Purpose and retention
Event rows are used to distinguish real visits, useful tool actions, owner QA, and automated traffic; measure which utility solves a player problem; and verify the project's traffic and commercial experiments. Raw event rows are deleted after 30 days by a scheduled cleanup and are not used to build a long-term user profile.
Owner QA exclusion
The site includes an owner QA mode that suppresses custom tool events during testing. Hosting-level traffic may still count a technical request, so revenue and user milestones require separate non-owner evidence.
